After my millionth fruit tree run, thought I'd finally post to let you know about this issue :P

Basically yeah, what the title says. It's as if the ChatboxOpacity plugin is disabled after you take the shortcut. You can reenable your settings by hiding and unhiding your chatbox (i.e. clicking the current chatbox tab to minimize it), though. And I think sometimes teleporting does the trick as well... I can try to do more extensive case testing if you need! I love the plugin and would be happy to help.

Not sure if there are other "shortcut" NPCs that do the same... I've only noticed this occur when using Elkoy to fast travel out of the Tree Gnome Village maze.

I have just tried this a few times and could not reproduce the bug. Plugin works fine for me. If there are any more details you can share that might help.

Oh hmm maybe it's my resource pack... I'll do some fiddling and see if I can figure out what else it could be.

Hm! It's not being consistent for me now! Not sure if i completely erased memory of it not happening from my mind via confirmation bias or something but I legit can't remember last time it didn't happen until today lol!

Anyway, I think it might have to do with me spamming click on the ground during load (trying to run to the fruit tree patch asap after shortcut, for example) because that's the only time I could get it to turn transparent after I turned off my resource pack (which itself doesn't seem to be the issue, as it's not being consistent in causing full transparency anymore either). Gonna fiddle some more but that seems like the likely culprit to me at the moment.

Is there a log I could send the next time it happens?

I got a recording. It's consistent whenever I spirit tree there and run to the fruit tree patch, but it gets inconsistent when I try to repeatedly take the Elkoy shortcut. Not sure why...
