I am suggesting the following features:

Add the option to anchor the notifications to the current client. This is immensely useful for playing multiple accounts at once: picture example.
Add the option to configure the appearance of the notification window to some extent (e.g. window geometry, font size, colors, icon, animation). This might be allowed to change depending on the type of notification: e.g., in the picture example, the "low HP" message is red instead of the default blue.

If these features are of interest, I would be happy to implement them and submit a pull request.
